This week's Auxo Spotlight is on Chris Crivelli, Principal Solutions Architect! Learn more about Chris and his story through our conversation below.

⚙️ What's your Unqork journey?

My first job out of college was working for Cognizant as a business analyst. I had graduated with a business degree, but was very interested in pursuing a career centered around technology. At Cognizant, I worked closely with software developers and solutions architects and knew that I wanted to pivot into a more technical role. 

A friend of mine was working on a project with a cool new platform called Unqork. I saw they were hiring for implementation engineers and immediately knew this was the opportunity I was looking for. 

I worked at Unqork for about 3 years, starting in professional services and eventually moving on to help build out the technical customer success function. Prior to coming to Auxo, I also spent a year working in the fintech space at a payments processing company.

🎯 What's an instance where Auxo's solutions made a significant impact on a client or project?

We just launched a new business platform for an annuities company which is transforming the agent experience and unlocking higher throughput for the business. The time from design to production release was about 6 months and the new platform is currently supporting multiple products and state variations, with more products being onboarded now. We have built a solid foundation to keep iterating on moving forward.

💡 What advice would you give to someone looking to enter your field of work?

Stay curious and be a problem solver first and foremost. If you know how to approach a complex problem or business process, the right solutions will become apparent to you. While technical skills can be learned, knowing how to approach tough problems sets apart a successful solutions architect.

🏃 Outside of work, what are your interests or hobbies?

Over the past couple of years I’ve gotten into running and I just completed my first marathon!
